  1. Peter,
Surfing online I stumbled upon your post from April 2011 regarding the poem and sketch in the Monitor. I wrote that poem, “An Honest Buck In Troubled Times” (I think that was the title) while working at the Monitor. I don’t know who did the sketch, though they should have gotten your permission at the time to publish. The funny thing is, it sort of looked like me at the time.
I left Boston soon after and lived in Chicago for 18 years and now am back in the east.
I am still writing, but not much poetry.
    Cheers,
    Jotham Burrello

      Hello Jotham,
Well, I finally caught up to this post. Regarding the sketch, it was likely done by my cousin, Tom Hughes, wonderful artist, unbeknownst to me at the time. I heard some reference to it from my father years ago. Indeed must have been 27 years ago. http://www.tomhughespaintings.com/home
I want to say how much I loved your poem, which really captured such an uncanny day in the life of me.
      All the best,
      Peter Hughes
